Where to Begin...

Well, I don't really know where to start. This year has been really great with a lot of changes and opportunities to grow. This year of school started with a completely new group of people and roommates. My roommates are incredible girls who make me smile, make me laugh, and help me through the hard days. They have been so great to me and I couldn't have asked for better. We love each other most days and enjoy being with each other.

Volleyball was amazing this year. I have been blessed to be surrounded by an incredible group of girls that teach me every day. We took 3rd at the National Tournament in West Plains, Missouri. I have grown so much because of these girls and the great experiences that we've shared. My mom and her sister Wendy got to join us in Missouri and share that awesome experience. I'm so thankful to have a family that supports everything that I do. I have a lot of decisions to make about where to go now that my 2 years in Wyoming are through. Life has a crazy way of working itself out when it seems like there is no way it will. I'm hoping that it works out that way again.

I've also been given the challenge of sending off a missionary. Landon White and I dated for almost two years before he left. He and his family were a great blessing in my life. I grew to love his family like my own and miss having the excuse of being with Landon to be with them as well. He is one of the most amazing people I have ever met and I am so thankful to have been a part of his life for as long as I was. He left October 13 for the MTC and left December 13 for Villahermosa, Mexico. I got to talk to him the day he left for Mexico. It was one of the hardest things ever to say goodbye again, but awesome to hear his voice again and hear the excitement in his voice about serving the Lord and the people of Mexico. He is so ready to be there. I know that him being gone will bless my life, but I sure do miss having him around. He took such good care of me. We made it to the 9 week mark today, only 95 more! :)

I'm home now for the Christmas holiday and seem to be going crazy already. Hence, the blog. I am having surgery on my foot tomorrow and need something to keep me busy. I love this Christmas season and the spirit it brings with it. I love the music and seeing the lights. I love the snow and the light of Christ that comes out in everyone. I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas! :)
